“This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook – try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun!” ~ Julia Child
I marvel at Julia Child because she found her passion at 32-years-old. Not as a kid in school, not at a job she was good at, and not at a career center trying to narrow down the options. She discovered her purpose and was not afraid to take risks and run with it. I love this quote because it encourages you to come out of your comfort zone and have fun in your uneasiness; seriously, how else do you uncover your hidden potential?
But lets take the quote back to its intended meaning – Learn How To Cook …
Some of the best memories I have involve my family, friends, and a stove. I can’t count the number of Sunday morning dance parties while making breakfast with my sisters, or the Burger Gauntlets issued between college friends during football season, OR the many smiles from younger cousins (and now my nephew!) when they eat my Aunts snicker doodles during the holidays. I firmly believe we all have stories like this because we love good company and GREAT food!
The owners at one of our properties in Howell New Jersey decided to take things a step further and turned their kitchen into a Sanctuary. Custom tile work, granite counters, and premium cabinetry will immediately catch your attention when entering this safe haven, but the cosmetics are only a fraction of why this gourmet kitchen is so special. The crown jewel is the state of the art TOP of the line AGA appliances! My personal favorite is the AGA Cooker because it's essentially a heat-storage stove and cooker, “which works on the principle that a heavy frame made from cast iron components can absorb heat from a relatively low-intensity but continuously-burning source, and the accumulated heat can then be used when needed for cooking.” (Wikipedia.com) The stove doubles as a heat source, LOVE THAT!

I could go on and on about the AGA appliances, sun drenched breakfast room (perfect for dance parties!), and the copious amount of workspace, but the truth is you won’t get it until you step in and experience it. Feel free to call The Home Shoppe for more information and showing instructions.
